SMX is seeking a candidate to conduct Inspection Support to support G6 at Fort Belvoir, VA. The successful candidate will have experience supporting Department of Defense contracts and experience performing all aspects of a government inspection program.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Track and coordinate scheduled inspections with Government lead, Organization Inspection Program (OIP) Coordinator, and unit.
Conduct all pre-coordination activities (30-day notification, passing of clearance and travel arrangements)
Travel to required locations identified for inspection keeping government lead informed.
Utilize latest inspection checklist identifying organizations state of cyber readiness.
Provide a thorough out brief, and final report of inspection results to government lead.
Document activities and conduct internal coordination to standardize the inspection process within the COMMAND.
Serve as the subject matter expert, providing training at the unit level when issues are identified during an inspection.
Maintain record of the inspection results and coordinate with the inspected unit until closure of identified deficiencies.
Support tenant security plan (TSP) requirements for INSCOM and supported MSCs.
Provide CCRI support to INSCOM and supported MSCs.
Required Skills, Experience & Education
Active TS security clearance and eligible for SCI and NATO read-on prior to starting work.
Meet the DoD requirements for a privileged user on a TS/SCI information system prior to starting work - DoD 8140 / 8570.01-m requirements.
Extensive knowledge supporting a variety of inspections to include CCRI, IG, etc.
Must meet DoD 8570 level II certification compliance (i.e. possess one of the following certifications: CompTIA CySA+, CompTIA Security+, CCNA-Security, GICSP, GSEC, SSCP)

Prior experience supporting the Organizational Inspection Program.
