As Eliot enters year 2 of our CBHC program, we are exciting to continue the transformation of community behavioral health programs. We not only believe that high-quality services must be provided when and where people need them but we have a proven track record of doing so. We are devoted to creating and supporting services that remove barriers to services in the community, rather than in emergency rooms and institutional settings. W e are dedicated to restoring dignity and hope to the lives of the people we serve by ensuring access to evidence-based treatments, trauma-informed services and relevant resources. Our CBHC services include team based care, rapid response and flexible services that will enable us to serve as an entry point for timely, person-centered, mental health and addiction treatment on an urgent and ongoing basis for adults, children and families.
We are looking for an Assistant Director to oversee our child services. The Assistant Director is responsible for leading the two child teams in our CBHC model, including both clinical and administrative guidance. They will collaborate with community partners and local schools to ensure the needs of the children and families are being met.
Responsibilities:
Direct and manage the daily operations and service delivery of CBHC Child Team services
Direct and manage the administrative and clinical functions of Teams and oversight of services for all clients
Direct the implementation of the CBHC Team vision including developing systems to ensure immediate access to services and sustained clinical treatment of all Team services
Develop and implement systems to monitor service delivery and utilization of supports for all CBHC Teams
Manage/Direct overall fiscal direction and budgetary needs of CBHC Teams
Develop, implement and manage utilization, Team interventions, Team resources, and overall CBHC Team services
Ensure that Teams put the client/family at the center of all care and that all interventions are developed and provided in a manner consistent with person centered planning policies.
Provide direct supervision to Team managers involved in the CBHC program
Provide leadership, support and clinical guidance to all staff supervised in accordance with CBHC policies and procedures.
Ensure team leadership are providing supervision that focuses on side by side interventions to individuals that focus on problem solving, skills training, modeling behavior, optimism and encouragement. Ensure services are delivered where clients are located.
Qualifications:
Must possess a current Massachusetts clinical license including LICSW, LCSW, LMHC, LMFT, LRC, LADCI, RN, PA, APRN, MD, or Licensed Psychologist.
Must have strong clinical skills
5 years of experience working with people with severe and persistent mental illnesses and/or children with mental health disorders
Must have at least 3 years of experience providing supervision in a mental health setting
Demonstrated ability to oversee/manage a multi-disciplinary clinical team and to design/operate programs based on community needs
Schedule: Monday- Friday, 9am-5pm
