Responsible for obtaining materials, components, equipment, and services while ensuring the best quality at the best value.
As a member of Oracle's International Electronic eBusiness Center, you will consolidate, negotiate and manage a regional supply base. interface between our regional subsidiaries, suppliers, and/or Corporate Finance team. Place, expedite, and status orders daily in accordance with Oracle's Global Purchasing/Finance policy. Monitor the cost, schedule, and scope of assigned standard and nonstandard contracts. Manage supplier invoice holds. Analyze global spending trends and recommend cost saving opportunities. Identify, propose and initiate implementation of process efficiencies/improvements. May provide feedback to Product Development on product usability. May assist in training of new buyers and end users.
Job duties are varied and complex utilizing independent judgment. May have project lead role. Extensive commodity knowledge, excellent written and oral communication, customer service, computer and negotiation skills, and ability to multitask. 5 year experience and BS/BA degree or equivalent.
Responsibilities
Candidate will manage key IT supplier relationships and will predominantly deal with IT sourcing and contract negotiations and support M&A integrations by dispositioning EMEA supplier contracts inherited from acquired companies; candidate will be primarily responsible for the Software commodity within Technology Procurement.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Prepare, conduct and analyse Request for Proposals (RFP’s), Request for Quotes (RFQ’s) and Requests for Information (RFI’s).
Supplier Relationship Management.
Supplier Due Diligence/Market Research
Formulate, review and negotiate contracts in line with Oracle’s legal terms and conditions.
Procurement administration tasks.
ACCOUNTABILITIES:
Manage and or participate in EMEA procurement projects as required.
Assist Line of Business managers to prioritise and schedule RFP’s/RFQ’s/RFI’s.
To achieve optimum value from vendors, in terms of price, service, quality and coverage.
Follow procurement RFI/RFQ/RFP processes and procedures.
Complete RFP/RFQ evaluations, analyse data, complete scorecards, Executive Summary’s and make recommendations on supplier selection.
Liaise with Oracle’s Procurement Contracts Team to ensure regional and local country contracts comply with Oracle’s corporate and legal policy requirements.
To undertake administrative duties such as maintaining the procurement Supplier Management Relationship Portal (SRMP), and procurement contracts database.
SKILLS
Supplier Relationship Management skills.
Computer literate – (MS Word/Excel/ Outlook/Power point).
Good command of the English language, both oral and written.
Contract negotiation skills
