The Massachusetts Gaming Commission (MGC)seeksto hire a Casino Regulatory Manager assigned to thePlainridgePark Casino in Plainville, MA. Under the direction of the Gaming Agents Division Chief, this positionis responsible forthe direction and review of activities of the Gaming Agents at a licensed gaming facility. Theindividual willbe responsible forestablishingand maintaining professional relationships with the operators and managers of the casinos, and formaintainingconstant communication with the Gaming Agents in their assigned casino. The Casino Regulatory Manager will also work closely with federal, state, and local law enforcement agencies. This individual will conduct regulatory investigations and prepare complex, detailed reports. The Casino Regulatory Manager will work closely with the Compliance Coordinator toestablishregulatory oversight through operational reviews, inspections, and assessments in comparison to all MGC regulations and state legislation. Duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following: * Assist the Gaming Agents Division Chief with the creation of policies and procedures within the Investigations and Enforcement Bureau (IEB), Gaming Agents Division, recommend regulations, policies and procedures in order to improve the effectiveness and productivity of the Gaming agents team, identify deficiencies in casino internal controls and recommend appropriate changes, provide input into all gaming floor and back of house change requests as well as new gaming floor layouts, and assure that all SOPs and Organizational Procedures and followed. * Evaluate the work performance of Supervising Gaming Agents, offer training recommendations and/or development plans; and reviewsubmittedevaluations of Gaming Agents by Supervising Gaming Agents to ensure fullness and finality. * Monitor the certification process of all gaming revenue in the Category 1 and Category 2 gaming establishments. * Receive and review daily surveillance and security reports tomonitorthe establishment’s activities, and review reports and supporting documents prepared by Gaming Agents and provide testimony asrequested * Review and resolve complaints from the public, licensees, and other gaming officials, work closely with MGC attorneys on all enforcement actions, and provide necessary testimony toappropriate hearingor courtproceedings * Assure that all criminal activity in casino is referred to the MA State Police and any other appropriate law enforcement agency, communicate and cooperate with police assigned to the Gaming Enforcement Unit to ensure effective and efficient regulation, and assist in detecting and properly investigating any violations of gaming laws or regulations and prepare and submit reports of all violations to the Gaming Agents Division Chief. _Our Benefits_: Hybrid work environment; MA State Retirement Plan (Pension); Tuition Remission for yourself and your spouse to MA Community Colleges and State Universities; Medical, Dental, Vision, Life, and Disability insurance; 12 paid Holidays; Deferred Compensation 457(b) Plan; Flex Spending for Healthcare, Daycare, and Transportation; Three weeks’ Vacation to start , three Personal Days and 15 Sick Days per year; Health Insurance Buy-out option. Skills and Qualifications: * Demonstratedexpertiseof gaming equipment, rules of the games, count room operations, and internal controls, casino surveillance and security operations. * Familiarity with or exposure to methods and techniques of criminal and/or regulatory investigations . * Understanding of the operations of gaming establishments, casino games, and devices. * Experience with a casino regulatory agency, and casino opening processes. * Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate a diverse team, and proactively collaborate with staff to address concerns or resolve issues. Experience, Education, and Training: * Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 10 years working in an office or casino environment, with a minimum of 6 years of experience in a casino or casino regulatory agency.
