Overview
The incumbent in this position is primarily responsible for performing highly skilled administrative duties and assisting with the execution of the casino marketing calendar. The Marketing Coordinator position is responsible for aiding the select departments; Monarch Rewards, Promotions & Events, and Database Marketing to ensure the smooth flow of work. This position, as with all members of the Monarch Team, is expected to conduct himself/herself in a manner that demonstrates initiative, professionalism, personal awareness, and integrity, and exercises confidentiality in the appropriate areas of his/her performance.
Responsibilities
Primarily responsible for Casino Marketing duties and will support and assist others in the Executive Suite.
Assisting in the preparation and execution of property-wide events and promotions
Assist with the creation and oversight of policies and procedures concerning casino marketing initiatives.
Maintains strict confidentiality of all corporate, personnel, and research matters; exercises good judgment and discretion.
Arrange complex and detailed travel plans and itineraries, and compile documents for travel-related meetings.
Assisting in the management and reconciliation of the casino marketing budget.
Coordinate and arrange meetings as needed.
Assist in the management of gaming-related processes.
Work closely with both internal departments and external vendors as needed.
Prepare expense reports and reconcile corporate credit card accounts monthly.
Provide back-up support to other administrative assistant regularly.
Perform complex and confidential administrative functions including drafting and finalizing written correspondence.
Pick up and distribute incoming mail daily.
Greet scheduled visitors and escort them to meeting areas.
Order and maintain supplies.
Other duties as assigned.
While performing the duties of this job, the employee may be required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle or feel objects, tools or controls; reach with hands and arms; climb stairs; balance; stoop, kneel crouch or crawl; talk, and hear. The employee may occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to focus.
Qualifications
Must be at least 21 years old
Nevada Gaming Registration Required
Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
Ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of casino administration experience with emphasis on guest service, marketing, promotions, and tracking
Able to take direction well and be very flexible in day-to-day activities
Ability to work independently
Ability to perform as an effective team member
Excellent computer skills with basic programs, e.g. Microsoft Office, Outlook, etc.
Strong organizational skills

Excellent customer service skills
Ethical business practices
Professional appearance and attire
General office, scheduling, and administrative skills
Flexible schedule needed occasionally
