　　Join our dynamic finance team as a Cash Applications Specialist! Our client is a forward-thinking company that values precision, efficiency, and innovation. We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Cash Applications Specialist to join our client's finance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the accurate and timely posting of payments against open receivables, ensuring smooth cash application processes. This role requires a background in cash application, particularly within the SAP environment.

　　salary: $25 - $30 per hour

　　work hours: 9 AM - 5 PM

　　Responsibilities

　　Accurately post daily incoming payments, including checks, ACH, and credit card transactions.

　　Investigate and resolve short payments, overpayments, and prepayments.

　　Utilize various customer portals to gather payment and deduction details.

　　Maintain organized records by scanning and saving backup from cash application batches.

　　Efficiently process chargeback write-offs and A/R adjustments.

　　Manage gift card program balances to ensure accuracy.

　　Review and incoming cash collections from stores, addressing any discrepancies.

　　Collaborate with SAP consultants to address and fix bugs in the cash application process.

　　Assist the Finance Department with special projects and handle miscellaneous duties assigned by the Controller or AR Manager.
