  Shift: Monday - Friday, flexible day shift hours

  (7:00 AM - 3:00 PM, or 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM, or 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM)

  Hybrid - 2 days in office, 3 days working from home

  Contract Position: 12 month contract with opportunity for conversion to Full-Time Employee

  What you will do:

  The Cash Application Coordinator is responsible for receiving and applying customer payments to the correct account to clear open accounts receivables (AR) and handle full Accounts Receivable lifecycle. This individual is also responsible for investigating discrepancies to apply cash accurately and to continuously find opportunities for improvement and presenting those to management. Individual responsibilities include:

  Record cash into the system, apply payments to the correct customer accounts in a timely mannerPrepare and process all credit card customersInvestigate any discrepancies noted on a timely basis. Responsible for initiating unapplied payment correspondence to customers as neededReview unapplied cash reports on a weekly basis at minimum to ensure all payments are applied against the appropriate balancesLog customer complaints items in databaseMaintain documentation on all cash application activities in accordance with SOX policiesAssist with sending outstanding invoices or account statements to customers to address delinquent accountsUse the MyDSO software to send customer statements out proactivelyFollow up with customers with past due accounts and missed customer payment commitments for short payment detailsOpen customer accounts, update credit limits in ERP system & prepare necessary paperwork for approvalEnter ship to addresses as requested by other departments

  What you need:

  Required:

  Minimum 2 years cash application experience

  Preferred:

  University Degree in business administration, accounting, or related discipline requiredStrong Microsoft computer skills (designing, building and maintaining files)Strong planning and organizational skills: Ability to prioritize work and keep accurate, detailed and confidential records.Strong multitasking capabilities: Must be able to understand and work within complex interdivisional procedures and have the ability to work on various projects simultaneously.Strong interpersonal skills: works well with others as well as independently, flexible, maintain professionalism at all times.Strong communication skills both written and oralStrong problem solving & customer service skillsPrior Oracle experience

  Internal applicants with an equivalent combination of education, experience and performance over time at Stryker will be considered.
