JOB REQUIREMENTS: Assist the elderly, convalescents, or persons withdisabilities with daily living activities at the person\'s home or in acare facility. Duties performed at a place of residence may includekeeping house (making beds, doing laundry, washing dishes) and preparingmeals. May provide assistance at non-residential care facilities. Mayadvise families, the elderly, convalescents, and persons withdisabilities regarding such things as nutrition, cleanliness, andhousehold activities. Supports and cares for 8 individuals withDevelopmental Disabilities and also supported apartments for 3individuals. -Go on doctor appointments -Shopping outings -Beauty Shopappointments -Communicate to family members both written and verbal-Help with activities, DVD\'s, CD\'s, games, community outings, walk,porch sitting, TV movies, art projects -Responsibilities includepersonal cares, feeding, documentation, medication pass Administerbedside or personal care, such as ambulation or personal hygieneassistance. Participate in case reviews, consulting with the team caringfor the client, to evaluate the client\'s needs and plan for continuingservices. Perform healthcare-related tasks, such as monitoring vitalsigns and medication, under the direction of registered nurses orphysiotherapists. Perform housekeeping duties, such as cooking,cleaning, washing clothes or dishes, or running errands. Plan, shop for,or prepare nutritious meals or assist families in planning, shoppingfor, or preparing nutritious meals. Prepare and maintain records ofclient progress and services performed, reporting changes in clientcondition to manager or supervisor. Provide clients with communicationassistance, typing their correspondence or obtaining information forthem.
