JOB REQUIREMENTS: The Caregiver supports our mission and values byproviding hospitality-focused service to residents of Compass PointCatered Living. What will I do as a Caregiver? Act as a central resourcefor resident questions or concerns and refer them to appropriate stafffor additional help, including families/vendors/peers. Superviseself-administration or administer medications per physician order undersupervision of nurse. Maintain positive, confidential communicationbetween staff, residents and families. Provide reminders to residents ofappointments and activity events. Discuss and encourage participation inappropriate activities. Assist resident in keeping clothing/closetsorganized and accessible. Check clothing for appropriateness andcleanliness. Assist residents with daily housekeeping chores to maintaina clean, safe environment per service package guidelines. Assistresidents with laundry per service package guidelines. Assist residentswith reading mail, addressing envelopes, changing hearing aid batteries,etc. as requested . Accompany resident to health appointments outside ofbuilding as directed by Residential Health Care Coordinator/designee.***** OTHER EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS: Experience in providingcare or ADL assistance to the elderly preferred.
