FTE: 1.00 Shift: Shift 1 Monday - Friday 8-hour days or possibly4-10-hour days, 40 hours per week. Shift has rotating start times (7,8,or 9am depending on staffing needs and call requirements). Weekly callis required along with rotating weekend call and rotating holiday callis required (you need to be within 30min of Froedtert when on call).Position is procedural so shifts may vary depending on the scheduledcase load. Some overtime is required. \$7K Sign-On Bonus! Job Summary:Prepares for and assists physician in all procedures done in theCardiovascular Lab. Other duties as assigned. Full time position in theCardiac Cath Lab. Working with the providers for all Cardiac casesinvolving the heart. Including, but not limited to: LHC, RHC, STEMI\'s,CTO / CHIP procedures, Structural heart procedures (TAVR\'s, Mitralclips, ASD / PFO\'s). Must be able to wear lead, work as a team, anddisplay professional behavior in a sometimes-stressful environment. Mustbe flexible in a patient centric environment. Patient care is always ourpriority. Must be able to be on location within 30 minutes upon STEMIactivation. Will rotate over to EP once fully trained. EXPERIENCEDESCRIPTION: Completion of an accredited Cardiovascular Technologistprogram or two years of field experience as an allied Healthprofessional such as CVT, Radiology Tech, Anesthesia Tech or Paramedicis required. EDUCATION DESCRIPTION: High School diploma or equivalent isrequired. Completion of an accredited Cardiovascular Technologistprogram is preferred. LICENSURE DESCRIPTION: American Heart Association(AHA) Basic Life Support for the Healthcare Provider (BLS) or an AHAapproved equivalent is required within three months of hire. AmericanHeart Association (AHA) Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) is requiredwithin nine months of hire.
