　　Responsibilities

　　The Department of Cardiovascular Diseases at Mayo Clinic Arizona seeks an advanced echocardiography trained physician candidate to fill a faculty position in cardiology. The echocardiography lab at Mayo Clinic Arizona is a high volume, ICAEL accredited lab with its own ultrasound school in affiliation with Mayo Clinic Rochester and an Advanced Echocardiography fellowship and research Echo fellowship program. The lab supports all Mayo Clinic outpatient and inpatient hospital activities including intraoperative, structural heart disease, and mechanical device procedures. Clinical reading platform and workflow are integrated with the Mayo Clinic Rochester and Mayo Clinic Jacksonville echo labs to provide abundant opportunities for research collaboration. Clinical rotations in the inpatient cardiology service and participation in outpatient ambulatory care are an expectation of the Department. Successful candidates must possess a strong track record in Cardiac Imaging and Cardio-Oncology research. Educational engagement includes teaching and mentoring cardiology fellows and internal medicine residents; in addition, clinical expertise in hypertrophic cardiomyopathy and or cardio-oncology is necessary.

　　Qualifications

　　Qualifications : Post cardiology fellowship required in Advanced Echo or Cardiac Imaging to include training in multi-modality imaging including cardiac CT and MRI. Optimal candidates will have an active and successful research program focused on cardiac imaging and cardio-oncology, and qualifications for academic rank of Assistant Professor or higher. Must be eligible for an Arizona state medical license.
