The Cardiac Sonographer provides high-quality, diagnostic cardiac ultrasound evaluations which include anatomical, physiologic, and pathologic data to aid in the diagnosis and treatment of heart disease. 　　Qualifications

　　We require:

　　Graduation from a Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Programs (CAAHEP)-accredited ultrasound program, and credentialing through the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS), required. -

　　Training in cardiovascular sonography; and extensive knowledge of human anatomy, physiology, pathology and physics required.

　　Ability to assist immobile and/or disabled patients - Ability to use reasoning and deduction in making medical judgments and to use sound judgement in the face of emergencies

　　Ability to be patient, flexible and maintain a high level of professional behavior required

　　Excellent interpersonal skills required.

　　30 continuing medical education credits are required every 3 years to maintain ARDMS credential. Virginia Mason offers much more than competitive compensation and benefits.

　　$44.63 - $64.72 /hour
