About CAPA Manager

  In the role as CAPA Manager within Corporate Quality, you will contribute to our purpose of Bringing People Closer.

  The overall objective for the CAPA Manager is to continuously develop and optimize the CAPA system and -processes, ensuring that GN is at the forefront of manufacturing high quality hearing aids.

  GN is on a transformation, moving from primarily being technical/ R&D - driven towards a future, where new products are being developed with a stronger market and customer centric vantage point.

  This is an exciting opportunity to take part in this transformation and change agenda throughout the Quality area to enhance and sustain a world-class quality and compliance function and culture.

  The Team you will be part of is a team of seven people, reporting to the Head of Quality Systems, Kim Glenert. This team is ensuring efficient systems, regulatory compliance, and quality improvement work.

  As CAPA Manager will have one direct report who is a Quality Coordinator.

  Your contribution is appreciated, as you will be the overall responsible for management of the Corporate CAPA systems and for the management of the CAPA processes. Furthermore, you will participate in audits and handle specific CAPAs along with the implementation of learnings based on these CAPAs.

  Key responsibilities:

  Management of CAPA Systems and CAPA Processes

  One direct report (Quality Coordinator)

  Facilitate the CAPA process throughout the organization, including change facilitation.

  Prepare and facilitate regular corporate CAPA decision board

  Follow up and measure progress of corporate CAPAs

  Monitor local CAPAs and influence CAPA handling locally

  Prepare KPIs and reports monthly for local stakeholders and quarterly for management reviews

  Maintain and develop processes and procedures in the corporate QMS (processes related to CAPA in particular)

  Ensure relevant stakeholders are familiar with the CAPA system and provide training as necessary.

  Drive CAPA actions through good problem-solving tools (DMAIC, Lean, Fishbone, 5 Why’s) and statistical tools used in CAPA execution.

  Participate in major improvement project for CAPA´s (Apollo 11 upgrade)

  Improve and mature CAPA best practice globally via mentoring and training.

  Travel activity: max. 10 days per year​

  To succeed in the role, we imagine that you have the following:

  Educated at bachelor’s level, preferably in engineering or another relevant technical field.

  Solid relevant experience with handling of CAPAs within a regulated industry, preferably in Medical Devices.

  Excellent problem-solving tools and an analytical mindset

  Experience with risk management techniques.

  Knowledge of Quality systems and/or quality techniques.

  Strong collaboration and stakeholder management skills

  Ability to listen effectively and to invite response and discussion to achieve the best strategies and solutions.

  We expect you to be committed leader with an empathetic approach.

  Fluent in English – spoken and written
