  Summer Camp dates: June 24th through August 29th, 2024POSITION SUMMARY:Responsible for the administrative functions for Quest Camp operations located at Drew University, the F.M. Kirby Children’s Center and the Family Center. Assists with the delivery of camp activities and supervision of staff when needed.Essential Functions:Has and maintains current knowledge and understanding of all programs offered.Coordinate day-to-day back-office operations of multiple Quest Camp programs in coordination with the Camp director.Manage Supply needs for Quest Camp: distribution of supplies, maintaining supply needs. Manages daily communications with parents via email, phone and in-person.Responds promptly to all parent inquiries, directing high priority items to Director accordingly.Manages camper enrollment via ActiveNet: withdrawal, transfer weeks, or adding additional weeks.Manages camp and staff records, ensures all licensing standards are met.Accommodates waitlists when space becomes available. Tracks all auto draft payments, follows up on any declined payments ensuring all camper fees are paid prior the start of each week.Participates in activities for camp staff, ensuring full engagement in the implementation and administration of programs objectives.Supports in the delivery of camp activities when needed ensuring they adhere to Quest Day Camp guidelines and meet NJ Youth Camp Act standards and ACA standards. Provides an energizing and fun environment for participants.Participates in staff meetings and trainings, may assist the Director in leading and guiding the work in support of the camp staff.Assists with other duties as assigned.All Staff will:Be paid a competitive wage.Attend 40 hours of mandatory training June 17th through June 21st, 2024, to obtain CPR, First Aid and AED certifications which will be provided through the Madison Area YMCA. Work up to 40 hours per week, days and times may vary.Be eligible for a 10 week stay cash incentive.Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree preferred.Bilingual preferred.Enjoy, be skilled at and understand the importance of building relationships with people: members, staff, volunteers, donors, and community leaders.Attend a mandatory training June 17th through June 21st, 2024.High degree of accuracy with information provided.Multi-task oriented; effective organizational skills and able to take initiative. Must have excellent communication skills.Ability to respond to safety and emergency situations.General knowledge of Windows computer operating environment, Microsoft Office.Working Conditions:Ability to stand or sit while maintaining alertness for several hours at a time.The employee is required to sit and use their hands and fingers, to handle or feel and to manipulate keys on a keyboard and use a telephone.Position may require bending, leaning, kneeling and walking.Vision abilities required by this job include close vision and ability to view computer monitors.Ability to speak concisely and effectively communicate.Visual and auditory ability to respond to critical situations and physical ability to act swiftly in an emergency and exposure to bodily fluids is possible.Must be able to withstand being outdoors in heat, humidity, on a pool deck and rain.Up to 40hours/per week, days may vary.
