JOB DESCRIPTION

We're looking for a full-time or part- time kitchen assistant who takes pride in helping to create authentic Italian attractive and delicious dishes. The ideal candidate will have kitchen experience, can work in a fast-paced kitchen, and have a positive attitude.  

DUTIES RESPONSIBILITIES

Some of your duties may include:

Prepare, design, create and decorate cakes and cupcakes according to client and company specifications using decorating techniques with frosting, sugar, and other edible materials.Ensure that available inventory meets business needsEvaluate and test new cake decorating techniques and ingredientsBake cake and cupcakesProvide high quality customer service and consult with customers regarding icing techniques and cake designEvaluate market trends and target offerings accordinglyDevelop new cake decorating techniquesMaintain a clean work area and wash baking and decorating toolsAssist with other duties as assignedYou'll need to be able to:

Lift up to 50lbsStand, walk, push, pull, squat, bend, and reachMaintain a high level of organization with a strong attention to detail and be able to multitask in a fast-paced environmentRequirements:

Candidates must be 18 years or older with the ability to understand and adhere to all job requirements and safety guidelines.Verifiable experience decorating cakes and cupcakesSchedule:

We can offer a flexible schedule to provide work-life balance if the schedule meets the business needs.  This position will require weekend work.
