Our Caf? is a fast-paced, friendly environmentcomposed of a hard-working, passionate, fun-loving team.Responsibilities & Duties (other duties may be assigned) - Practicesa total store approach to customer service; maintains a positive,empathetic, respectful and professional attitude towards customers -Educates customers by presenting and explaining the drink and sandwichmenus - Prepares quality sandwiches/wraps and beverages, followsprescribed recipes and preparation techniques - Maintains inventories byreplenishing smoothie/juice bar ingredients, coffee beans and supplies -Keeps equipment operating by following operating instructions;troubleshooting breakdowns; maintaining supplies; performing preventivemaintenance; calling for repairs - Maintains a safe and healthy workenvironment by following organization standards and sanitationregulations; maintains order and cleanliness of the department - Performfood preparation tasks such as washing product, cutting fresh fruits,veggies and meats, and other tasks as assigned by the Fresh FoodsManager Skills and Requirements: - Open availability - (Required) 1+food service experience - Must be at least 18 years old - Driver\'sLicense - Comfortable working with a team in a fast-paced caf? andkitchen environment - Excellent communication and organization skills -Strong customer service skills - A strong love of food - Ability tofollow instructions and procedures - Ability to thrive in a fast-paced,multitasking environment with a professional and friendly attitude -Ability to work both independently and as part of a team - (Preferred)1+ customer service experience Physical Requirements: - Must be ableto stand up to eight hours a day - Must be able to lift at least 25pounds at a time independently or with assistance on an occasional tofrequent basis - Ability to use fine motor skills - Ability to adapt tochanges in temperature due to opening doors, coolers, and freezers -Ability to bend, stoop, reach, crouch, walk, kneel, push, pull and twistrepeatedly - Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
