Description:
International multidisciplinary firm is looking to add a CAD Technician for Federal Way or Seattle office. This technician will be drafting and designing in AutoCAD to support coastline, harbors, and transportation projects. Candidate will need at 10-15 years of experience supporting AutoCAD drafting for civil and structural engineering projects. Preferably candidate has a Bachelor's or Associate's degree. Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Excel is required. -Assist the CAD Manager with designs for site development & transportation projects. -Draft detail drawings of cargo/port/bulk terminals, breakwaters, marinas, wharfs, bulkhead walls, piers, bridges, sound walls, ferry terminals, hydraulic structures, structures (steel, concrete, timber & masonry) and shoreline construction (beaches, revetments, dikes and jetties). -Review engineering drawings to ensure adherence to established CAD standards. -Conduct 2D & 3D CAD modeling.
