Description:
• Understand Bill of Materials (BOM) and Option Codes and help the team to structure BOM • Collaborate with design and other teams to release engineering change orders, change actions and deviations for PLM approval • Help to roll out new and updated design documents for launching new, existing, and future programs • Manage service documentation and service-related communications • Groom backlogs, set up sprints, identify and remove roadblocks and drive projects to completion using collaboration software like 3DX, PLM preferably ENOVIA • Work with engineering content editors to update database information • Partner with the Training team and content generation team to create training and technical material that can be effectively used by other teams • Communicate effectively with overseas teams regarding updates and documents • Collaborate with technicians, design and process engineers to document processes • Need to be a project manager in themselves to initiate and execute the work independently.

Additional Skills & Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree, certificate in Technical Writing, or equivalent professional experience • Technical writing experience (software and/or hardware) with knowledge of relevant content development tools for example JIRA, Confluence. • Bachelor’s in Mechanical Engineering and product design experience preferred. • Self-managing and self-motivated • Strong attention to detail, strong personal organization, collaboration, and time management skills • Work independently with minimal supervision • Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively between both technical and non-technical audiences • Knowledge and hands-on experience in Adobe Illustrator or Indesign would be an added advantage • Writing experience for translation or localization of documents • Preference for Markup language experience (such as HTML, XML, DITA XML, or SGML) • MySQL experience would be added advantage. • Structured authoring tool experience • Content Management System (CMS) experience
