Description

　　Robert Half in Haverhill, MA is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Inspection Technician to join our dynamic team. As an Inspection Technician, you will play a crucial role in troubleshooting hardware handling routine to moderately complex assignments and utilizing your expertise in problem resolution and independent judgment.

　　Responsibilities:

　　Troubleshoot computer hardware issues.

　　Connect loose drives to dedicated erasure solutions and process in high volumes.

　　Record failed and wiped drives accurately in spreadsheets.

　　Demonstrate knowledge of computer components and manufacturers.

　　Engage in custom computer building, utilizing personal expertise.

　　Responsible for wearing required equipment including anti-static wrist strap and exercising caution while handling product. Also required to test anti static wrist guide and record any failure on ESD daily log.

　　Responsible for maintaining test equipment and reporting any performance issues to Test Center Manager.

　　When required, responsible for visiting manufacturer websites (e.g. Intel) to research product specifications.

　　Segregates inventory both physically and within internal systems to ensure adequate inventory coverage and organized activity workflow.

　　Assist in continuous improvement of processes related to inspection and testing as well as for learning and disseminating information relating to testing parts.

　　Maintain and provide monthly reports related to testing.

　　Work with the Test Center Manager to further strengthen and improve testing processes.
