Description:

　　Working with National and Local Building Codes, developing loads.

　　Assisting with structural design and analysis (steel, concrete, wood, masonry) associated with building and marine structures, foundations and equipment support, framing/bracing, and other tasks as assigned.

　　Assisting in modeling/analyzing lateral systems.

　　Assisting with preparing project cost estimates.

　　Assisting in evaluation studies and developing reports.

　　Assisting with field work during design, analysis, and construction phases. Daily tasks may include field inspection work, concrete testing, rebar, structural steel, metal stud and metal deck inspections, structural repair inspections, writing field reports and transcribing field notes into report form.

　　Assisting in submittal review process, including structural steel fabrication drawings, proprietary systems, performance design items, concrete reinforcement drawings and concrete mix designs.

　　Assisting with design coordination with other project disciplines.

　　Working with structural computer software packages.

　　Skills & Qualifications:

　　At least 2 years designing with Revit. Structural Experience preferred but not required

　　At least 2 years of experience in structure drafting or designing.

　　A broad portfolio of types of projects worked on is preferred not required.
