OverviewCome join our team as a Business Analyst Intermediate at BrightSpring! We are looking for a Business Analyst that uses their problem solving and investigational skills to support our Enterprise Master Patient Index (EMPI) platform and also perform quality assurance tasks for in house developed applications. This position will act as the Subject Matter Expert that resolves potential duplicates, utilizes task queues and dashboards to monitor daily activity, and creates reports within the EMPI software. ResponsibilitiesSchedule, plan and lead requirement gathering and review meetings with the business
Communicate key decisions and action itemsWork with Product Owners and Development team members to convert business requirements into user storiesAct as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for the systems and processes assigned.Create test plans, test scripts and, acceptance criteria for new software applications, defects or enhancementsPerform quality assurance application testing that includes regression testingSystem administration to include configuring, implementing, monitoring, and testing of all related applicationsApplication support including troubleshooting issues and clearly reporting them to technical staff and/or vendor(s) as necessaryCreate, organize, and update documentation for software applications, as necessaryAttain and maintain knowledge about department practices, procedures, workflows, including providing focused support on applications where appropriate to enhance end user abilities and capabilities with the systemWorks as liaison to Infrastructure team for issues related to connectivity and performancePerform other duties as assigned
QualificationsAssociate of Art/Associate of Science in Computer Science or related field with two to four years of progressive experience in an enterprise healthcare settingAppropriate education and/or experience may be substituted on equivalent basisAbility to complete analysis and evaluate data quality for patterns, duplicates, missing values, and inconsistencies preferredPrevious experience in an enterprise healthcare setting with knowledge of patient data, clinical services offered, and payor models is strongly preferredSignificant experience in workflow design/redesign, healthcare information systems, and/or systems analysis and design experience strongly desiredInitiative, self-starter, problem identification, resolution and analytical skills are essentialAble to work with minimal supervisionExcellent oral and written communication skills are requiredStrong critical thinking and the ability to apply knowledge within a complex environment is essential
