About Business Process Improvement Specialist

  Coordinates projects that result in the overall improvement of business processes and efficiency.

  Assists and coordinates process improvement plans for local operations under his/her responsibility that minimize resistance to change and maximize engagement.

  Partners with operations to understand and identify factors that optimize the business. Identifies and recommends areas to focus resources and initiatives for process improvement projects.

  Ensures projects meet objectives and schedules.

  May manage the performance of direct reports by defining accountabilities, establishing performance objectives, providing feedback and guidance, and ensuring that all policies are understood and adhered to.

  Read and follow the UL Solutions Code of Conduct, and follow all physical and digital security practices

  Performs other duties as directed.

  Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required.

  Lean Six Sigma certification preferred.

  General knowledge of operations management preferred.

  Experience with Lean tools such as Standard Work, Value Stream / Process Mapping, KPIs management, Visual Management, etc. preferred.

  Established project management skills preferred.

  Excellent collaboration, teamwork and interpersonal skill required.

  Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite applications, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook required.

  Self-starter, capable to take initiative and work with minimal direction

  Ability to work onsite in Lowell, AR or Bentonville, AR Monday through Friday required.
