Genesis10 is seeking a Business Analyst for a hybrid remote 7+ month contract with our client in Minneapolis. Background: The client is implementing a new care management system to replace the existing one, with a sunset date of October 1, 2024. A skilled Business Process and Requirements Analyst is required to optimize the care management solution and identify organizational efficiencies. The care management system covers critical health plan functionalities, including utilization management, transportation authorization, care management, population health, appeals and grievances, analytics, and reporting. Work to be Performed: Identify and request operational resources for User Acceptance Testing (UAT) in collaboration with various teams. Drive the identification, documentation, and communication of activities. Partner with client Health IT and Integrations teams for alignment to processes and systems. Collaborate with key partners to prioritize cross-departmental initiatives and design new workflows. Ensure optimal subject matter expertise participation for cross-functional projects. Perform other projects and duties as assigned. Required: At least three years of healthcare industry experience. Experience defining user and functional requirements, BSA certification, or similar credentialing. Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite. Familiarity with healthcare plan management and case management software. Ability to present data graphically and experience with pivot tables. Proficient in developing flowcharts, workflows using Visio, Smartsheet, Microsoft PowerPoint, and Lucid charts. Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to handle multiple priorities. Demonstrated ability to handle confidential information and work in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision. Initiative and critical thinking in completing tasks.
