Job Description
The Contracts Administrator job is comprised of either a Deal Specialist or a Deal Manager role. Both work in a multi-cultural environment and cover multiple countries and/or lines of business. The work is fast-paced and seasonal in nature, corresponding with Oracle’s quarterly and annual fiscal cycles.
The Deal Specialist creates, validates and processes contract documentation using Oracle's standard document templates, a set of contract options and in accordance with Oracle's policies and business approvals, in response to requests received from Sales. The Deal Specialist follows defined engagement guidelines to liaise with other Deal Management teams, Finance, Legal, and other groups across Oracle to ensure policy compliance and mitigate corporate risk.
Duties and tasks are standard with some variation. Completes own role largely independently within defined policies and procedures. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Organized, detail oriented, and time management skills. Proficient in Email, MS Word and Excel. Able to work effectively under time critical deadlines. Demonstrates resilience in times of change and uncertainty. Excellent customer service skills. Experience drafting standard contractual documents. Knowledge of Oracle policies and procedures desired. Must be fluent in local languages for contracting country. Ability to evaluate alternative courses of action. 2 years experience in contracts, purchasing, or equivalent. BA/BS degree, or equivalent years of experience.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Update Pricing, Review, audit and modify financing & leasing contracts for accuracy and compliance with Oracle Financing’s business practices and approval process to mitigate Oracle’s risk.

Act as a liaison between Sales, Credit, Legal, Business Practices, Finance and customers to resolve contractual and business operational issues.
Prepare and submit assignment packages to funders.
Administer the search for orders booked, request of invoices, and timely filing the relevant documents in Oracle Systems to support Operational functions.
Monitor funding of financed transactions and coordinate with funders, Oracle Cash Applications, and/or Collections teams in India to proactively handle any potential cash and/or invoice issues.
Participate in project work which will be assigned as needed.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor Degree in Business Administration/ Finance/ Economics
At least 5 years operations experience preferably in leasing or finance industry
Solid written and verbal English communication skills
Detail oriented, Team Player with Customer service focus
Hands-on experience with documentation process flow will be helpful
Knowledge of basic finance concepts (such as discounting cash flows, net present value, internal rate of return, etc.) including intermediate Excel skills is helpful
