Meeker Equipment Co., Inc., an asphalt plant equipment manufacturer and distributor, headquartered in Belleville, PA, has an opening for a Design/Engineering Technician in our factory near Lewistown, PA. Meeker Equipment produces material handling equipment, liquid handling equipment and related process equipment for the asphalt, aggregates, concrete, and petroleum industries. Our primary markets are in Eastern USA and Southern Canada. This position consists of equipment design, application selection, and field engineering.  This position will also provide assistance to project engineers with various tasks to complete projects. Some travel will be required. The successful candidate should have knowledge in mechanical/structural design, field layout, and bulk materials systems design. Proficiency with Microsoft Office 365 and Auto Cad Inventor 3D CAD software is required. This position will require a highly motivated individual with the ability to work independently to solve various application related and manufacturing challenges.
