About Business Intelligence Engineer, AIGC HR Analytics

  AIGC HR Analytics(AHA) team is looking for a BI Engineer who wants to work in a fast-paced, exciting, and growing organization.The Business Intelligence engineer will support the overall AHA team to create insights, dashboards, and reports that help teams make better decisions. Primarily, this role will be responsible for deep-diving data across Talent, Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI), and other PXT needs for our AIGC organization. This person will create self-service dashboards and will also provide strategic recommendations on how to solve critical business priorities.Key job responsibilities-Use data to create insights and recommendations to PXT leaders.-Create a detailed business analysis, outlining problems, opportunities and solutions.-Write compelling narratives to share data stories to stakeholders and equip them to make informed decisions and future plans.-Work closely with the AIGC PXT leaders and others to design, execute and maintain metrics and recurring reports.-Provide data for MBRs, QBRs including global recruiting data, talent, DEI, and other people metrics.-Produce ad-hoc reports and analysis to identify trends on customer and associate behavior using tools such as Excel, Tableau, Quicksight, and SQL.About the teamAt AIGC HR Analytics (AHA) team we strive to- Build trusted partnerships: We listen to our partners in order to drive effective relationships within AHA and work with our PXT Leaders to develop, deliver, and drive adoption of the products and services we create.- Quality vs Quantity: We prioritize data accuracy, on time reporting, and data consistency over new feature request and ad-hoc request.- Scalable Solutions: We are a force multiplier by building reusable, repeatable solutions and driving automation to move with the speed of the business. This includes developing self-service tools and products, delivering actionable insights, and accelerating human efficiency which inform employee experience and development strategies to retain talent.- Long-term value, short-term results: We deliver short-term results while capturing, curating and analyzing data that will drive long term value.We are open to hiring candidates to work out of one of the following locations:Seattle, WA, USA- 3+ years of analyzing and interpreting data with Redshift, Oracle, NoSQL etc. experience- Experience with data visualization using Tableau, Quicksight, or similar tools- Experience with data modeling, warehousing and building ETL pipelines- Experience writing complex SQL queries- Experience in Statistical Analysis packages such as R, SAS and Matlab- Experience using SQL to pull data from a database or data warehouse and scripting experience (Python) to process data for modeling- Experience with AWS solutions such as EC2, DynamoDB, S3, and Redshift- Experience in data mining, ETL, etc. and using databases in a business environment with large-scale, complex datasetsOur compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $79,600/year in our lowest geographic market up to $185,000/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
