Key Qualifications
Master’s degree or foreign equivalent in Data Science, Applied Statistics or related field and 2 years of experience in the job offered or related occupation.
1 year of experience with each of the following skills is required:
Statistical Inference & Methodology
Programming Language: Python, PySpark, and SQL
Analytics and Model Audit
Project Management
Data Visualization & Reporting in Tableau
Description
APPLE FINANCING LLC has the following available in Austin, Texas. APPLE FINANCING LLC is a subsidiary of Apple Inc. Design and develop fair lending program and system to support Apple’s financial services efforts. Analyzing and interoperating of new sources of data. Identify and investigate activity that could pose a risk of money laundering or other financial crimes in support of all legal and regulatory requirements. Develop and enhance rules and models while creating reports, fulfilling data requests, designing monitoring scenarios, and performing ongoing analysis to support compliance initiatives. Perform ad-hoc and reoccurring statistical analyses using Python. Work with data warehouse architects in SQL and software developers to generate seamless business intelligence solutions for business partners. Responsible for statistical analysis including machine learning and AI techniques to support compliance of financial products with fair lending laws and regulations by assessing for algorithmic bias. 40 hours/week.
