Join our Chemtech division in the Research and Development department as Business Intelligence Analyst to help us take Business Analytics to the next level. You will have the chance to structure big data sets, which contributes to the decision making within Sulzer Chemtech. You will form part of a motivated and experienced team, that is open to discuss new approaches to create success for Sulzer.
Your main tasks and responsibilities:
Support Data Analytic projects in Sulzer Chemtech environment
Providing Business Intelligence dashboards to the different stakeholders
Create Business Intelligence dashboards
Collect Business requests and lead Business discussions
Create queries for business analytics
Perform user trainings
What you bring to Sulzer:
Bachelor degree or higher in Applied Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Nature Science or equivalent experience
Min. 2 years of working experience in an environment with stakeholders and customers (Jobs during studies are counting)
Excellent analytic skills associated with working on datasets
Ability to evaluate issues and develop solutions that are creative and effective
High knowledge in Business Intelligence Tools (QlikSense, Power BI or comparable)
Experience in UX design/data visualization
Experience in data modeling techniques
Interest in working with modern cloud data lakes (e.g. Snowflake)
High competence in using databases (e.g. SQL) and the ability of creating ad-hoc queries incorporating business logic
Strong communication skills in English, German is an asset
Used to work with collaboration partners to manage expectations and create buy in of the proposed solution
Excellent collaboration, partnering and communication skills
Ability to multitask in a matrix organization
Basic knowhow in using CRM and SAP modules is a plus
