DESCRIPTION/RESPONSIBILITIES:As a People Readiness Specialis t, you will be responsible for supporting the people-centric aspects of organizational transformation and change initiatives. You will work closely with senior leaders, program leaders, and stakeholders across the organization to ensure that the people within the organization are engaged, empowered, and equipped to thrive in the future state. The Business Engagement Specialist is responsible for supporting the business engagement strategy and execution of activities to foster strong relationships between the Connect PPG organization and its business partners and stakeholders. In addition to our internal business partners, this role will also have responsibility for supporting Customers/Suppliers readiness activities in receiving the change. This role is key for supporting and executing program objectives, driving organizational transformation, and implementing SAP S/4HANA successfully across PPG. This role will report to the Business Engagement Strategic Pillar Lead as part of the People Readiness Organization.
Your main duties will include:* Implementing a people readiness strategy that aligns with the organizational mission, goals, objectives, and culture.* Assessing and understanding the current state of the organization's capacity for change and identifying the gaps and opportunities for improvement.* Establishing and maintaining business leadership support and advocacy for the desired future state and the change initiatives.* Designing and delivering effective communication and engagement plans that foster transparency, collaboration, and feedback.* Strategy and consulting support for Business Facing Transformation Office Leaders* Measuring and evaluating the impact and outcomes of the people readiness activities and interventions.* Promoting a culture of continuous improvement and innovation by soliciting and incorporating feedback and best practices.
Key Responsibilities/Skills:* Supports activation efforts of PPG's Enterprise-Wide Business Transformation Network, including but not limited to the global Connect PPG Super User Network* Supports others who are responsible for executing global business engagement strategies, including communication and change deliverables.* Leads by example, demonstrating commitment, professionalism, and strong work ethic.* Fosters a culture of communication and productive work environment by promoting teamwork and effective communication,* Completes tasks and responsibilities within a matrixed organization.* Supports established relationships with key business stakeholders globally to ensure alignment with Connect PPG and One PPG's strategic goals.* Supports and executes engagement strategies that enable Connect PPG transformation and implementation objectives and drive awareness, understanding and adoption through broad global organization.* Address issues, concerns or conflicts and find solutions to improve business engagement and resolve challenges.* Utilize data and metrics to assess engagement levels and make data-driven and feedback-informed decisions to enhance strategies.
Qualifications* Professional with 2-5 Years of relevant experience in change management and/ technology or business-related transformation support.* A bachelor's or master's degree in business, technology, organizational change management, communications, or a related field.* Interpersonal skills and the ability to build relationships at all levels within the enterprise; Ability to support and collaborate with senior leaders and stakeholders across the organization.* Self-driven with commitment to delivering high quality work in a dynamic fast paced environment.* Possess strong problem-solving skills; Strong analytical and conceptual skills.* Technical skills to support people readiness data needs, such as ad-hoc reports, data extraction/ manipulation, etc* Knowledge and experience in gathering requirements and/or working with* business processes* Project Management Skills - ability to manage and deliver small projects independently.* Knowledge and skills in change management methodologies, tools, and frameworks.* Strong communication, presentation, and facilitation skills, including storytelling (Verbal and Visual)* High emotional intelligence and cultural sensitivity.* A passion for people and a drive for excellence.
