Summary
The Business Developer performs business development activities including proposal development, contract negotiations, client recruitment and relationship development for assigned region and market segment.
Roles and Responsibilities
The Business Developer will possess competency in the following areas in order to perform his/her role in a safe, productive, and effective manner. Develops Proposals and Conducts Contract Negotiations
Establishes Procedures and Facilitates Communication that Enhances Client Relations
Researches, Analyzes, and Plans Prospective Business
Identifies Leads, Secures Bids, Tracks Project Status and Nurtures Client Relations
Ensures a Safe Work Environment
Participates in Training/Certifications
Requirements
Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university and 4 years of related experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience
Knowledge and understanding of concrete and related construction including mix designs and their impact on the final product
