It is a first-level credit analyst position and will require being proficient with Business Banking commercial underwriting processes, policies and procedures. The position will analyze credit requests and be responsible to render a credit decision or a credit recommendation depending on credit approval authority responsibilities.Job DutiesResponsible for reviewing, analyzing and evaluating business banking credit requests based on policies and procedures. Based on sound judgement and credit maturity, this may include decisioning responsibilities.Evaluate and ensure that the transaction is accurate, complete and compliant.Will perform detailed commercial analysis on both personal and business cash flow sources including personal and business tax returns and financial statements.Review Credit Reports and interpret the data along with the analysis of key lending ratios to determine capacity, credit utilization and Loan to Value.Effectively address and resolve complaints and issues raised by staff and business partners.Will be responsible for using their underwriting experience and credit acumen to coach and educate others.
