As a Business Analytics Lead for Rhythm of Business (ROB) BI, you will lead the the BI work related to how sales leadership reviews business health and performance. Responsibilities
Partner with a dedicated team of Business Analytics Lead to deliver priority outcomes through insights, as per the strategic roadmap for various business functions.
Own the end-to-end insights creation-to-consumption lifecycle, leading business problem definition, hypotheses formulation, designing and delivering the solution for our business stakeholders.
Leverage various data sources such as One Commercial Data Model (OCDM), Azure Data Lake, SQL Database, Cosmos DB, SharePoint, etc. to build Power BI dataset and dashboard to address business needs and requirements.
Develop business acumen and the ability to connect the dots across various value cycles of our business. Apply a culture of consultative orientation as well as hypotheses driven approach to solving key business problems.
Engage broadly with stakeholders & business team leaders to structure and prioritize business problems where insights can have the biggest impact.
Ensure high quality, adherence to standards and best practices, high performance, and scalable, repeatable processes and deliverables.
Analyze data, investigate any issues raised by the stakeholders, and partner with the engineering team to drive resolution and maintain the quality of deliverables.
Communicate complex data concepts and insights effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences, using appropriate tools and visualizations.
Continuously learn and explore new data technologies and methodologies to enhance our data capabilities and deliver value to our customers and partners.
Successful candidates will be comfortable working with data, able to research to find answers, navigating ambiguity, and collaborating across teams and functional boundaries. Candidates should be curious and have a bias for action. This role requires a balance of business and technical acumen, with an ability to communicate with clarity with cross function stakeholders.
Qualifications
Required / Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Analytics, Engineering, Computer Science, Marketing, Business, Economics or related field AND 4+ years experience in data analysis and reporting, business intelligence, or business and financial analysis
OR Master's Degree in Mathematics, Analytics, Engineering, Computer Science, Marketing, Business, Economics or related field
2+ years experience in data analysis and reporting, business intelligence, or business and financial analysis
OR equivalent experience.
Additional / Preferred Qualifications:
7+ years of experience in developing Business Solutions using Data Analytics & Insights, including any of the following tools and technology: PowerBI, Data Analysis Expressions, PowerBI Desktop, start schema data modelling, or related.
5+ years of experience managing cross-functional and/or cross-team projects. Understanding of development lifecycle of an Analytics platform & good statistical skills. orientation to discern pattern/trends from large volumes of data.
Ability to design business hypotheses, interpret model results and communicate recommendations based on efficacy of application of analytics.
Effective written and oral communication skills, particularly the ability to synthesize complex issues/scenarios into easy-to-understand concepts.
An attention to detail with self-discipline and a drive for results.
Demonstrated ability to work in ambiguous situations and across organizational boundaries.
Prior experience with RoB reporting and cross-functional business management.
Business Analytics IC4 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $101,200 - $194,800 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $130,000 - $213,200 per year.
