The Business Analyst is responsible forhelping implement software solutions in most effective way bydetermining the requirements of a project or program and communicatingthem clearly to facilitators and partners. Managing, prioritizing andproviding detailed functional requirements of products or features tothe software development team as identified by the product owners ormanagers, is the key element of the position. This must be completedconsistently to insure efficient delivery of solutions. The BusinessAnalyst will work with business groups, functional area, users anddevelopment team members to maximize the benefits of the applications totheir business needs. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Writing andconsistently delivering actionable, detailed stories and businessrequirements, based on direction given by the product owner, analysisand insights gained from stakeholders (business SMEs, softwaredevelopment team, UI/UX). Foster collaboration across team to achieveoptimized solutions. Responsible for working with stakeholders to defineorganizations business requirements in order to shape the output ofprojects and ensure they deliver the expected business benefits. Assistin implementing new business applications and enhancements includingtesting and integration. Have a focus on continuous improvement with thebusiness, reviewing both processes and systems. Propose modificationsand enhancements to improve functionality or address any issues thatarise. Review, analyze, evaluate, and document requirements of businessusers. Use of data to drive analysis and decision making regardingfeature priority, and process optimization in assistance of the productowner. Investigate problems and data discrepancies, diagnose rootcauses, identify problematic trends, and work on resolving them. Conductreport outs on KPIs. Updating, implementing and maintaining BAbest-practice processes within the development team and alsocross-functionally. Documentation and communication of results.
