This internship is designed to provide graduate students with experience in the Digital Consulting and Digital Technology space. Interns who participate in this program will develop essential skills that are not attained in the academic world and enable them to make the transition from academic to professional life. Interns will provide data analytics, data visualization, and data infrastructure support to JBS International.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
Collaborate with different departments to gather and analyze data relevant to business challenges.Conduct comprehensive market research and analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and threats.Prepare and present reports on findings and recommendations.Participate in the design and execution of business projects.Contribute to process improvement initiatives.Assist in the development and implementation of business strategies.Support the team in day-to-day activities and ad hoc tasks as needed.MINIMUM JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
Education: Graduate students pursuing a Master's Degree
Language: English fluency (oral and written)
Experience: 2 years of professional working experience in the digital technology or consulting industry or equivalent.
Knowledge: The candidate must have knowledge of product management, management consulting, and technology.
Soft Skills: Must be able to organize, track, and complete multiple tasks during the workday as priorities change. Key qualifications include initiative, organizational skills, ability to work well in a team, and strong communication skills (oral and written). A high level of attention to detail.
Software Proficiency: Data visualization software such as Power BI or Tableau. Analysis tools and languages like Excel, R, or Python.
PHYSICAL/MENTAL REQUIREMENTS:
Spends extended periods sitting at a desk or workstation.Frequently uses a computer, keyboard, and mouse.Manual dexterity for tasks such as typing, using small tools. Frequently reaches, raises/lowers objects, upward pulling motion, carry objects/materials using hands or arms.Regularly requires ability to stand, stoop, kneel, bend, walk, and sit.Ability to frequently lift and shift materials, deliveries, equipment, etc. up to 20 to 40 pounds regularly with a maximum of 65 pounds.Position requires vision abilities including close vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus.
