Job Description
Would you like to help us continue to grow the love of our brand and reach many more children across the globe through our branded channel marketing? Bring your shopper marketing expertise and account management leadership skills to lead the team of communications partners!
This team designs and develops the online and offline shopper campaigns that are implemented across all LEGO branded channels. This role will drive the clarity and collaboration between our key partners and our internal communications team. This key role will set the team up for a successful kick-off and delivery!
Core Responsibilities
Team Leadership
Lead a current team of 3, by investing in their continued education and effectiveness in their roles
Foster a collaborative and inclusive culture that embraces feedback, accountability and continuous process improvement
Partner Management
Secure strong collaboration with key partners / internal clients to obtain annual forecasts for marketing campaigns
Clarify and debrief on marketing briefs working with internal strategist
Manage resources and prioritization of projects within the Communications Partner team
Global Shopper Marketing Communications Leadership
Actively contribute to critical initiatives and focus areas across the full team.
Evaluate and improve current marketing systems and strategies for campaigns
Play your part in our team succeeding
Your primary focus will be to drive the collaboration between our key partners and the internal shopper marketing communications team. This person will accomplish this by building a high-performance team, strong internal agency collaboration and relationship building and partner planning. You will also be a trusted advisor and act as the voice of marketing in the internal Shopper Marketing Communications team.
Do you have what it takes?
Marketing Communications professional with strong people leadership skills
Skilled strategist and problem solver with strong partner management capabilities. You can build and empower successful teams while also driving processes through complex organizations.
Degree in Marketing or Communications preferred or relevant work experience, preferably at a marketing agency
Proven leadership and building collaborative, results-oriented teams
Deep understanding of shopper marketing in a D2C environment with global brands
Understanding of how to enhance modern marketing levers with a strong commercial-orientation
Exceptional interpersonal skills; communication, diplomacy, leadership and presentation skills
Analytical thinking ability and problem solving orientation
Ability to evaluate creative ideas against a strategy
New Location Update
The current work location for this role is 501 Boylston Street, Boston, MA. In 2025, we will transition to our new permanent office location at 1001 Boylston Street, Boston, MA. Specific move dates for roles are to be determined and communicated in 2024.
