BUTTE SILVER BOW COUNTY COUNCIL ON AGING INC.BELMONT SENIOR CITIZEN CENTERJOB DESCRIPTIONRESPONSIBLE TO:SPECIFIC DUTIES:BUS DRIVERBus DriverAppropriate license and good driving record (No CDL Required) , must pass a drug test. Pleasant social skills required, ability to assist clients on and off bus.1. High School Diploma or equivalent.2. Must have valid Drivers License no CDL required.3. All drivers subject to on the spot Drug Testing.4. Must be able to lift and carry up to thirty (30 lbs) pounds.Fill out morning bus list, pick up clients at their respectivehomes and bring them to the Senior Center for meals. Takethe clients home after meal is completed.Assist clients on and off the bus.Operate wheelchair lift when required.Give clients rides to special events held away from theSenior Center, such as picnics, dinners, and shopping trips,etc.Pick up garbage inside the bus on a daily bases.Sweep inside of bus as needed_Clean bus internally on a weekly basis.In the interest of safety, driver is expected to wash outsideof bus frequently. Bus may be washed with Senior Centerfunds.Mileage sheets must be completed daily and kept inside ofvehicle.Maintenance schedules must be followed.Vehicle maintenance must be reported to theAdministrative AssistantPre-trip each morning before route.Maintain a neat and clean appearance. Dress in accordancewith Policies and Procedures.Attend required training or special meetings as necessaryWatch Safe Driving Video Quarterly.POSITION:QUALIFICATIONS:15. Practice "on the job" safety procedures. Make sure all seniors are safely attended to on the bus and walkers are properly stored.16. Meet with Management Team as required to discuss problems.17. Exhibit friendly and courteous behavior at all times when serving clients.18. Other duties as assigned.HOURS: Varies depending on doctor appointments and other events. The primary work days for this position are Monday, Thursday and Friday, 4-7 hours per day.The wage is $15.00 per hour.
