About Broker - Natural Resources (Downstream)

  The Role

  WTW’s Natural Resources Downstream team is looking for a Broker to join them at this exciting period of growth.

  Key Duties:

  Understand the clients’ business and risk transfer needs and offer solutions to fulfil those needs through the provision of ongoing service

  Understand, apply and where necessary explain the BU policies and procedures

  Establish and maintain active relationships with our clients, retail offices and (Re)Insurers

  Provide technical, industry and subject matter expertise

  Draw on expertise within the team and across the Group for clients

  Liaise with clients and build strong relationships

  Determine appropriate solutions, structure, price and placement strategies that meet the clients’ needs and wishes and deliver profitable business for a range of clients

  The Requirements

  Proven Natural Resources Insurance experience, within Broking or Underwriting.

  Strong relationships in the Natural Resources Downstream market locally and overseas

  Proven track record of developing relationships, strategies, and program design

  Excellent stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence within a matrix environment

  Demonstrated experience in providing exceptional client service and building of client relationships

  Proactive and diligent approach to all tasks

  Excellent attention to detail

  Strong skills in problem solving, planning, and budgeting

  High levels of business and financial acumen with an understanding of company strategy and change management

  Preferably with professional qualifications, e.g. ACII or similar country equivalent, or relevant industry experience
