　　Job Description

　　Olsson is looking for a motivated mid-to-senior level structural engineer to join our bridge and roadway team in Fayetteville, AR. Our bridge group works on a wide range of projects including bridge and retaining walls, dams, storm and traffic structures, inspections, rehabilitations, load ratings, and assisting with construction engineering services. We facilitate designs on transportation projects that include grade separations, interchanges, and stream crossings for public and private clients throughout the Midwest. You will be able to collaborate with roadway, traffic, geotechnical, and stormwater engineers on projects that make a positive impact in our community while simultaneously offering you the ability to grow and pick up a wide array of skills.

　　You'll have opportunities to get involved with project management, marketing, proposals, client development, and mentoring technical staff. You'll manage projects from concept though construction making decisions on engineering problems and select the appropriate structural solutions that are cost-effective and constructible while working with a multi-disciplined team of engineers and technicians. Occasional travel for site visits or inspection work may occur.

　　Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering with structural emphasis or closely related field.

　　A Master’s degree, or in pursuit of one, is a plus

　　Proficiency with AASHTO LRFD Bridge Design

　　Experience with bridge analysis and design programs (LARSA, LEAP Bridge Enterprise, Lpile, SPColumn, MDX)

　　Experience designing prestressed concrete and steel bridges

　　Must be a registered professional engineer or be taking the PE exam within the next six months

　　Ability to become licensed in other US States through the NCEES

　　Experience with ArDOT/KDOT/MoDOT Bridge Projects, preferred

　　Experience in MicroStation
