JOB REQUIREMENTS: Bridge Engineer II - 306085DESCRIPTION/RESPONSIBILITIES: DESCRIPTION Michael Baker International isseeking a highly motivated Bridge Engineer to support our growing bridgepractice in Wisconsin. This position can be worked remotely as well,ideally with the candidate residing in Wisconsin. The ideal candidatewill be focused on executing technical work and providing technicalexcellence within the Bridge Department. We are looking for a teammember who will participate with senior project managers and junior teammembers to provide high quality engineering services. The BridgeEngineer will work on bridge projects and develop innovative, practicalsolutions to various bridge design, load rating, and inspection work. Inthis role you will perform design and analysis as well as otherstructural engineering tasks for bridge systems and components.RESPONSIBILITIES * Perform structural analysis of bridge systems andcomponents using Midas, AASHTOWare Bridge Rating, STAAD, Conspan, andother similar software tools * Assist and check design calculationsperformed by others * Work alongside other staff to develop structuraldetails and construction plans using MicroStation or AutoCAD * Preparegeometric layouts, construction specifications, and material quantitycalculations for bridge rehabilitation and replacement projects *Perform bridge and other structure condition inspections and prepareinspection reports * Establish and maintain corporate relationshipswith all employees, clients, and other stakeholders. COMPENSATION Theapproximate compensation range for this position is \$82,326 - \$113,198per year. This compensation range is a good faith estimate for theposition at the time of posting. Actual compensation is dependent uponfactors such as education, qualifications, experience, skillset, andphysical work location.
