About Brand Marketing Manager

  The Brand Marketing Manager, working with Line of Business field staff and leadership, implements cost effective strategies to attract, engage and retain clients and stakeholders. This is done through development and execution of Brand Marketing Plans, as well as just-in-time activities and opportunities that advance business objectives. The Marketing Manager is considered an expert in positioning service line capabilities among key audiences, both internal and external, to ultimately increase revenue.

  • Establish position as a collaborative marketing partner with brand leaders: through demonstrated knowledge, proactive outreach and results.

  • Develop and lead implementation of marketing plan. In collaboration with the brand, the Marketing Manager will develop an integrated marketing plan, ensuring alignment of messages and optimizing outcome. The Marketing Manager will be directly involved in the execution of the plan.

  • Competitive and market knowledge, product positioning and messaging. The Marketing Manager will coalesce knowledge of the market, the product, the value proposition and the key messaging for external communications and sales readiness.

  • Work with the brand leaders to define go-to-market strategies around product and service offerings. This may include target strategies, outreach and ongoing engagement strategies. Ensure sales teams have the proper marketing materials and collateral to articulate our value proposition, and are aware of and use materials.

  • Bachelor's Degree in marketing/business or related field strongly preferred.

  • Minimum of 7 years of product marketing required; service industry experience preferred.

  • Self-Motivation – Able to start and persist with specific courses of action with limited supervision or without having someone provide detailed direction

  • Planning – Able to organize and schedule tasks; plans ahead; considers preparation; priority setting, and structure to be important.

  • Self-Confidence – Feels comfortable when first meeting people; at ease in formal situations; talkative and confident with different types of people; livens up group activities; enjoys interacting with different people; makes friends easily.

  • Achievement – Ambitious and career-centered; enjoys working on demanding goals.

  • Initiative – Comfortable taking independent action; self-starting and can define and execute goals and objectives independently.

  • Assertiveness – Able to communicate to others regardless of their status or position; able to persuade others to do what they don’t want to do; able to resolve conflict in order to obtain desired result.

  • Goal Orientation – Able to define specific goals; able to prioritize objectives; initiates goal setting; prepares well in advance; plans and prioritizes work while being sensitive to time constraints and resource availability; sets ambitious goals.

  • Technical Sales Skills – Able to successfully advocate, encourage, promote, or otherwise cause the acceptance of products and services; identify and satisfy customer needs; understand and overcome objections.

  • Collaborative - To work across lines of business. Internal/ External collaboration. To drive and to participate.

  • Creativity - To think out of the box

  We are open to both local and out of state candidates for this position.

  If local (within 50 miles of Milwaukee, WI) this position is based in our Global Headquarters located in downtown Milwaukee. Employees can enjoy an onsite cafeteria, coffee shop and gym along with beautiful views of the Milwaukee river, Deer District and historic downtown architecture ManpowerGroup is proud to support a flexible working environment. Employees may work virtual some of the time depending on role (1-2 days per week).
