The Brand Manager Oncology is a pivotal marketing role with the responsibility of leading key brands across our portfolio in a highly dynamic environment. The brands in our Oncology portfolio are at various stages of their lifecycle.
However, in this role you will have the opportunity to lead a new launch within our growing solid tumor portfolio. Reporting to the Senior Marketing Manager – Solid Tumors, this role requires strong partnership across several functions both within the local and regional teams.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced marketeer looking for an opportunity to lead the strategic brand management, tactical execution, and cross functional launch excellence of an important new Oncology launch.
The role will require an understanding of a cross-functional brand team with a view to progressing to more senior roles within marketing or other areas within Takeda.
Key Accountabilities for the Role
Leading & supporting the execution of our local strategic and tactical brand plan
Fostering a culture of collaboration within our cross functional brand team
Leading launch excellence and clear communication of launch progress to relevant internal stakeholders
Leading the development of product and disease awareness materials for omnichannel use by multiple stakeholders
Leading the development of therapy area specific promotional education programs
Collaboration with relevant key opinion leaders and healthcare stakeholders across an array of activities
Supporting the approval of marketing materials across the portfolio in Promomats (electronic approval system), ensuring materials comply with the ABPI code of practice and Takeda SOPs
Briefing and monitoring agencies to ensure integrated marketing communications strategy is reflected in all activities and that communication goals are met
Lead on the creation of tactical KPIs to monitor & analyse the effectiveness of marketing activities against agreed objectives
Managing promotional budgets to remain within agreed spending levels
Communicating effectively with the sales team to ensure utilization and implementation of materials
Collaborate with supply chain team in monthly demand forecast review
Working with the Divisional Sales Directors and Learning & Development Team to ensure that tools, materials and programs are clearly briefed and implemented effectively

Experience
Bachelor’s degree within Life Science, Marketing or similar
Minimum of 3 years of experience from marketing in the pharmaceutical industry
Brand management and launch experience from Oncology is desired
