Branch Manager
Evans is seeking a high-energy Branch Manager to oversee our Perinton Branch (located in Fairport, NY). Reporting to the Senior Branch Manager, the Branch Manager will utilize leadership skills to work closely with their team of Tellers and Relationship Bankers to build a consistent and strong service and sales culture while ensuring efficient day-to-day operations.What We Offer:An inclusive culture where associates are empowered to bring their authentic selves to EvansA collaborative environment where good listeners with high standards thriveA growing organization where people are engaged and empowered to solve problems and make decisionsFrequent, timely coaching sessions to enable professional growthThe ability to leverage your strengths and passions while making a lasting impact on the communityCompetitive compensation and benefitsPaid volunteer time to contribute to the betterment of the communities we serveWhat We Ask Of You:Responsible for overall smooth and efficient day to day operations of the branch, upholding all bank policies, procedures, and regulationsOversee and ensure that accepted levels of control are met for security, regulatory and operational requirementsAssist customers in opening accounts, loan requests, and the closing of loansHandle escalated customer situationsResponsible for the overall sales performance of the branch, working closely with other members of the retail team to build internal sales and culture at the branchAbility to interview candidates as neededPerform platform and universal banker duties as neededResponsible for ensuring all staff are abiding by operational procedures as established by the Audit and Operations areaConduct regular coaching sessions with associates, providing constructive feedback on performance and ways to improve; ensure branch associates are cross trained to ensure maximum levels of productivityDevelop a sound branch staffing plan that is in place including requests for additional staff during peak periods to meet customer demandsLead and direct regular staff meetings and training as neededEmbrace the organization's commitment to excellence by maintaining a strong knowledge of Evans Bank products and services to effectively refer solutions across various businesses and achieve referral goalsBuild strong relationships through engaging in WNY communityCollaborate with business partners and other departments within Evans Bank through solid and timely communicationResponsible for profitability of branch
Experience & Competencies:Proven sales experience with the ability toSell/refer products and services to customers and non-customersPlan, develop, and execute a personal and branch sales planNMLS or ability to attain within 30 daysNotary Public or ability to attain within 180 daysPrior retail banking supervisory experience strongly preferredComprehensive knowledge of bank products and services preferredComfort in a fast-paced, high-volume work environmentProficient time management skillsPassion for coaching and developing a teamYou enjoy supporting team and individual goalsYou thrive in learning through hands on experienceYou get excited about making an impact
