  Job Description:

  Position: Bradley Junior Mechanic

  Location: Fort Cavazos, TX

  Duration: 12 months (temporary role with ability to extend or be directly hired)

  Pay Rate: $21.50--$24.00 (based on knowledge, skills, experience)

  Start Date: as soon as possible or until Filled / Closed

  Bradley maintenance

  contract employment (with possibility of direct hire)

  Bradley Junior Mechanic (Helper): Assist mechanic with troubleshooting, repairing and ensuring Bradley Fighting Vehicles are in compliance with, production, customer and contractual requirements. Assist with routine tests and inspections, operating equipment and recording data. Candidate must present themselves in a professional manner at all times as we interface with the customer and work at a customer facility. Candidate must maintain a safe work environment and ensure compliance with safety policies and procedures at all times

  diagnostics/repair/trouble shoot

  familiar with the use and operation of TMDE Test Measurement type diagnostic equipment

  new equipment fielding; de-processing; upgrading

  perform other duties as assigned by Leadership

  Requirements:

  Minimum of general mechanic experience / skills and computer / knowledge is required. Must have knowledge of the mechanics of either wheeled or tracked vehicles either through the military or civilian sector. Must also have a general knowledge of how to operate a computer as they must be able to complete required training and daily timecard input without supervision.

  Preferred: Bradley Fighting Vehicle mechanic experience through military service.

  Must be able to obtain a Bradley Driver's License after proper training (provided on-site). Must be able to obtain / qualify for a USG CAC (Common Access Card) to access US Military Installations and work sites

  Available for possible travel (Domestic)

  gain access to U.S. Military facilities (possible Military Clearance)

  valid State Driver s License

  standard employment background screening

  U.S. Citizen; legally permitted to work in the U.S.

  High School Diploma (or GED)
