Description/Job Summary

　　CONVERTING OPERATOR - C

　　POSITION OBJECTIVE

　　Produce the highest quality product meeting the customer's specification through safe operation of the assigned equipment.

　　QUALIFICATIONS

　　High school diploma or GE equivalency

　　Prefer previous experience with the operation of electric pallet jack and manufacturing environment.

　　Must have regular, reliable attendance and willing to work outside the regular schedule as required.

　　Willing to handle job stress and interact with others in the workplace.

　　DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

　　JOB TASKS & DUTIES

　　Accurately maintain scrap produced (weigh and tag when taken from production areas).

　　Accurately read pallet tags (i.e. white production labels, quarantine tags, return to inventory tags, etc.) and properly move pallets based on the tags.

　　Move finished goods, gaylords, operation supplies to and from storage and production areas by hand or using manual electric pallet trucks.

　　Maintain a clean and neat work area in the production, scrap areas, finishing goods storage areas, and box area.

　　Perform daily housekeeping tasks to remove trash, dirt, scrap, and plastic pellets from the production floor.

　　Empty trash dumpsters and designated broken pallet areas daily.

　　Abide by all Inteplast IBS safety policies and procedures.

　　JOB SPECIFIC SKILLS

　　Basic mathematical skills required: addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division

　　Ability to accurately count and record all types of materials - finished goods, operation supplies, roll stock, and scrap.

　　Good written and verbal skills

　　Must be able to read and write in English

　　Must be able to operate machinery and pass a safety test.

　　PHYSICAL ACTIVITY REQUIRED FOR THIS POSITION

　　Ability to quickly move your hand, your hands together with your arm, or your two hands to grasp, lift, manipulate or assemble objects frequently.

　　Ability to exert muscle force to lift, push, pull, or carry objects up to 50 lbs frequently.

　　Ability to stand and change positions frequently over an eight-hour period.

　　Ability to bend, stretch, twist, or reach with your body, arms, and/or legs frequently.

　　Ability to use your abdominal and lower back muscles repeatedly or continuously to lift objects up to 50 lbs.

　　Ability to quickly respond (with the hand, finger, or foot) to a signal (sound, light, picture) when it appears.

　　WORK ENVIRONMENT CONDITIONS SUBJECTED TO IN THIS POSITION
