Broad Description ofDuties: Under the direction of the theatre management team, the BoxOffice Attendant is responsible for providing support in the theatre andensuring a high level of guest satisfaction. Tasks will be handled in afriendly, courteous, helpful, timely, and professional manner. Thisposition reports to a member of the theatre management team or GeneralManager (reporting may vary by location). Essential Functions/JobDuties: Associates must be able to perform the essential functions ofthe position with or without reasonable accommodation. Completetransactions by greeting each guest, identifying the guest\'s request,completing loyalty transactions and thanking the guest; Ensure thesecurity of all box office cash and tickets; Communicate and enforcevarious theatre policies including location specific Curfew Policies;Meet sales expectations through loyalty card sign-ups, suggestiveselling, upselling and sampling; Distribute and understand how tooperate assistive movie-going equipment; Operate point-of-saleterminals, process transactions and make accurate change; Perform dailymaintenance duties, including daily stocking of supplies; Make certainguest service is friendly, helpful and fast; Enforce ratings to keepunderage guests from accessing auditoriums with adult content; Answerquestions from guests and resolve any concerns; Uphold Marcus\' highstandards and execute company-wide programs; Assist with other functionsas instructed by the General Manager or a member of the management team*The above list reflects the general details necessary to describe theprincipal and essential functions of the position and shall not beconstrued as the only duties that may be assigned for the position.
