Description We are in the market for an experienced Bookkeeper to join our team in the CA Firm industry, located in Fort Worth, Texas. This role involves maintaining financial records, processing transactions, and providing financial support to our team. As a Bookkeeper, you will be critical in ensuring our financial data is accurate, up to date, and used to guide our business decisions.
Responsibilities:
• Compile and reconcile complex data, creating and modifying spreadsheets as necessary
• Translate and analyze financial reports, ensuring all data is accurate and up to date
• Prepare financial statements in accordance with our financial schedule
• Perform bank reconciliations, ensuring all transactions are accounted for
• Handle General Ledger and Journal Entries, maintaining accurate records
• Utilize Microsoft Excel to manage and analyze financial data
• Perform month-end close procedures, ensuring all necessary steps are taken
• Ensure high attention to detail and accuracy in all work
• Maintain a client-centric approach, willing to go the extra mile to meet deadlines
• Use strong analytical skills to analyze financial data and make recommendations.
Skills:
• Experience with Account Reconciliation
• Proficiency in Bank Reconciliations
• Extensive knowledge of Bookkeeping practices
• Proficiency in Data Entry
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel
• Experience with Month End Close procedures
• Familiarity with General Ledger management
• Experience with Journal Entries. Requirements • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a bookkeeping role within a CA firm or similar industry.
• Proven experience with account reconciliation and bank reconciliations.
• Proficient in bookkeeping practices and principles.
• Experience with data entry tasks related to bookkeeping.
• Proficient use of Microsoft Excel for financial analysis and reporting.
• Demonstrated ability to handle month-end close procedures.
• Knowledge and experience in maintaining and managing general ledgers.
• Experience in recording and managing journal entries.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or related field is preferred, but not required.
