Description

　　Robert Half is seeking a Part-time Bookkeeper with dynamic communication skills, a positive attitude, and a professional demeanor for a role. This Part-time Bookkeeper position offers a flexible schedule of 6-8 hours per week. This Bookkeeper position will be located in the Birmingham, Alabama area and will be a contract opportunity.

　　Major responsibilities:

　　Oversee and manage general ledger

　　Support accounts by verifying, allocating, and posting transactions

　　Arrange financial reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing account information

　　Appease accounts by balancing entries

　　Supervise bookkeeping policies and procedures, along with developing a framework to track financial transactions with an established chart of accounts

　　Review payments received and record deposits

　　Look after archived records by categorizing documents

　　Requirements

　　Previous experience using accounting software

　　Accounting Functions experience

　　Experience with Accounting procedures

　　QuickBooks experience desired

　　Basic Bookkeeping experience required

　　Strong familiarity with Accounts Payable (AP)

　　Previous experience as a Bookkeeper preferred
