Description

　　Robert Half has partnered with an esteemed firm to bring an experienced Bookkeeper onto their rapidly-growing team. This Bookkeeper position will be located in the Bridgewater, New Jersey area and will be a long-term contract / temporary opportunity.

　　What you get to do every day

　　Review payments received and record deposits

　　Maintain and balance general ledger

　　Maintain quality historical records by filing documents

　　Appease accounts by balancing entries

　　Organize a structured method to account for financial transactions by establishing a chart of accounts; define bookkeeping policies and procedures

　　Oversee accounts by verifying, allocating, and posting transactions

　　Produce financial reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing account information

　　Requirements - BS Degree in Accounting, Finance or Business Administration preferred

　　Previous experience using accounting software

　　Previous experience as a Bookkeeper preferred

　　Knowledge of Accounts Payable (AP)

　　Accounts Receivable (AR) experience

　　Well-founded grasp of Microsoft Excel

　　Comprehensive knowledge of bookkeeping

　　General familiarity with month end closings

　　General ledger experience preferred

　　Proven knowledge of QuickBooks

　　Bank reconciliations experience
