Description We are offering a long term contract employment opportunity for a Bookkeeper in the Transport industry, located in Kittery, Maine, United States. As a Bookkeeper, you will be tasked with maintaining the financial records of our company, handling a variety of accounting responsibilities such as account reconciliation, managing accounts payable and receivable, and performing bank reconciliations.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all aspects of accounts payable and receivable

• Ensure accurate data entry and maintenance of financial records

• Handle account reconciliations to ensure accurate reporting and ledger maintenance

• Conduct bank reconciliations regularly to ensure accuracy

• Utilize QuickBooks for all accounting tasks

• Manage the month end close process efficiently

• Handle payroll duties for the company

• Utilize Microsoft Excel for data management and financial reporting

• Maintain and manage the bookkeeping activities of the company. Requirements • Proficiency in Account Reconciliation is required.

• Experience with Accounts Payable (AP) processing and management.

• Demonstrated knowledge of Accounts Receivable (AR) is essential.

• Familiarity with bank reconciliations is needed.

• Proven experience in Bookkeeping is required.

• Ability to perform Data Entry tasks with accuracy and efficiency.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is a must.

• Experience in Month End Close processes.

• Payroll management experience is required.

• Proficiency in QuickBooks is essential.
