Description

We are offering a contract for a Bookkeeper role in Bayonne, New Jersey. The role primarily involves maintaining financial records, processing transactions, and ensuring overall financial accuracy for our operations. The Bookkeeper will play a key role in our team.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage all general ledger activities

• Ensure accuracy of financial data entries

• Conduct bank reconciliations regularly to ensure financial integrity

• Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable operations

• Perform account reconciliations to ensure accurate reporting and ledger maintenance

• Process payroll for all employees

• Use QuickBooks for all bookkeeping tasks

• Prepare month-end closing reports

• Leverage Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting.

Requirements • Proficiency in Account Reconciliation is essential.

• Demonstrated experience with Accounts Payable (AP) is required.

• Must have a strong background in handling Accounts Receivable (AR).

• Expertise in Bank Reconciliations is necessary.

• Prior experience in Bookkeeping is a must.

• Applicants should have excellent data entry skills.

• Mastery of Microsoft Excel is required.

• Candidates should have experience with Month End Close procedures.

• Familiarity with Payroll processes is necessary.

• Proficiency in QuickBooks software is a significant asset.
